Introduction:
The code of conduct for Teaching & Non-teaching staff should be characterized by integrity. The code of conduct has prepared to know the rules and regulations of the institute to teaching and non-teaching staff. All staff members must abide by the rules and regulations of the institute. The institute authority may take disciplinary action if any one violates the rules and regulations. Staff members are advised to adhere to the code of conduct and discharge their responsibilities as the members of this institute. All are required to following rules.
1. All faculty members must maintain high standards of punctuality, honesty and professional ethics.
2. Every faculty member shall discharge his/her duties efficiently and effectively as pr the norms laid down by the S. V. S.T., Jamshedpur and school management from time to time.
3. All faculty members must be enthusiastic in taking up the subjects allotted to them. All are bound to accept the duties/subjects allotted to them. No one has any right to refuse/deny.
4. Every faculty member should be responsible to conduct regular classes and practical and also take extra classes whenever necessary.
5. Every faculty member shall respect the right and dignity of the students/ other staff members in expressing his/her opinion.
6. Every faculty member shall deal impartially with students regardless of their religion, caste, economic condition, social & physical identity.
7. No faculty member shall act in any manner that violates the decorum or morality within the campus.
8. Every faculty member should work within institutional politics and practices so as to satisfy the vision and mission of the institute/trust.
9. All faculty members must refrain from any harassment or unlawful discrimination.
10. Every staff member shall maintain the appropriate level of confidentiality with respect to student and staff records and other sensitive matters.
11. Every staff members should cooperate with students, colleagues and superiors.
12. All staff members should maintain the image of the institute through standards of dress code, general courtesy etc.
13. All staff members should follow all norms and job details assigned by the Management and Superior from time to time with full dedication.
14. Every staff members employed in the institute shall not absent himself/ herself from his/her duty without prior permission. In case of sickness or absence on medical ground a medical certificate to the satisfaction of the school authority shall be produced within a week.
15. A teacher or other person employed in this institute shall not engage himself/ herself in political activity. He/she shall not be associated with any political party or any organization which takes part in politics or shall subscribe to or assist in any political movements.
16. A teacher or other person employed in this institute shall not contest or participate in or canvass for any election. Such restriction will, however, not apply to the employees in respect of elections related to the Teacher’s Constituencies.
17. A teacher or other person employed in this institute shall not bring or attempt to bring any political or outside pressure on his/her superior authority in respect of his/her individual service interests.
18. Every faculty member shall not engage himself/herself or participate in any activity which is anti-secular or which tends to create disharmony in school.
19. A teacher or other person employed in this institute shall not give corporal punishment to any student.
20. A teacher or other person employed in this institute shall not discuss school related issues in the staff room or somewhere else.
21. A teacher or other person employed in this institute must refrain from criticizing or complaining against other.
22. Staff member’s should not bring or discuss about outside issues inside the school campus.
23. Schools information should not be discussed outside. If anyone found doing this, strict action should be taken against him/her.
24. During the period of service no one will be allowed to join any college or pursue any course of studies before getting prior approval of the head of the institute.
25. Leave cannot be claimed as a matter of right. When exigencies of school service so required kind may be refused revoked by the Management and Principal.
26. An employee remaining absent for more than 30 (Thiry) days beyond the leave originally granted or remaining absent for 30 (Thirty) consecutive days shall be deemed to have abandoned the employment voluntarily.
27. The staff should refrain from any kind of commission dealing with the school suppliers.
28. The staff should refrain from any kind of criticism and gossip about their colleagues within or out of school.
29. Comments which hurt a person’s sentiment and doubts his/her integrity and sincerity will not be tolerated.
30. Staff members are requested not to air out lose comments that can create doubt, panic, rumor or unsettle the institutional process.
