We are grateful to you for the interest and faith shown by you to our school. We want to make you aware that this is an English Medium Co-educational School based on CISCE curriculum, New Delhi. Ramakrishna Vivekananda International English School, Baharagora sponsored by Swami Vivekananda Seva Trust, Jamshedpur, had its humble beginning on 03.02.1999 with 3 staff members and about 55 students only from Nursery to UKG. Today the school has more than 1000 students reading in classes from Nursery to Std. X. Presently we have two units- (Unit-I) Junior Section at Patpur, Baharagora (Nursery to UKG) and (Unit-II) Senior Section (High School) at Barsole, Matihana, Baharagora (Std.-I to Std.- X).
We have a large play ground with almost all the sports facilities. Practical Labs, Computer Lab with Internet facility, Library facility are also available here. A team of well qualified experienced and dedicated teachers always remain here ready to guide the students. Annual Function, Sports, Prize Distribution Ceremony and Educational Tour are conducted annually. We have got the N.O.C. from the Govt. of Jharkhand, vide Notification Number- 12/1411-01-06-2012 and the Affiliation from CISCE, New Delhi vide Affiliation No. JH096. Students studying in our institutions come from poor and middle class families. They are taught to imbibe the spirit of love and sacrifice for their fellow men as propagated by Swami Vivekananda. Books on the life & teachings of Sri Ramakrishna Deva, Holy Mother Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda are taught in all classes. Efforts are made through this institution to inculcate moral values, broad and catholic outlook, and devotion to higher values of life. Stress is laid on creating a spirit of self-help and sense of dignity of labour through a planned system of extra-curricular activities, such as Music, Dance, Drama and Computer Education. The school is making steady progress and attaining popularity due to sustained efforts of the teaching staff and the honorary workers. The Vision Guided by the concept and philosophy of education as propounded by Swami Vivekananda the School under the Mission aim at imparting man-making and character building education to the pupils coming to the fold of the school. With this view the school was set up in the year 1999 to provide to its pupils the education of academic excellence blended with moral values based on Indian tradition and culture.
